Three Oregon law university are included in the annual rankings of the nation's best graduate university, compiled by U.S. News & World Report and released Tuesday.

The University of Oregon was Oregon's top ranked law school, coming in at No. 82. Lewis & Clark College's Northwestern School of Law was No. 94 and Willamette University College of Law was No. 118The rankings consider how institutions are ranked by their peers, by lawyers and judges as well as by the undergraduate GPAs of their students and scores on the Law School Admission Test, among other metrics

The top five law schools nationally were Yale University, Harvard University, Stanford University, Columbia University and the University of Chicago.University of Oregon School of Law: The state's flagship university received a 2.6 rating among peers, on a 5-point scale. It boast a 54 percent acceptance rate. At graduation, 27.8 percent of its 2013 graduates had jobs and 62.9 percent had jobs within nine months. Nearly 77 percent passed the bar.Lewis and Clark College's Northwestern School of Law earned a rating of 2.4 among peers, on a 5-point scale. It boasted a 2014 acceptance rate of 67 percent. At graduation, 32 percent of its 2013 graduates had jobs, rising to 66 percent in nine months. More than 81 percent passed the bar.Willamette University College of Law earned a 2.0 rating among peers, on a 5-point scale. It boasted a 72 percent acceptance rate in 2014. Of its 2013 graduates, 25.2 percent had jobs at graduation, rising to 74.8 percent in nine months. Nearly 81 percent of graduates passed the bar.
